Very atypical offices
An outstanding construction – halfway between the tertiary and industrial sectors
Very uncommon offices were created in Rennes; using the H9 partition for its numerous benefits: technical qualities, modularity, greater height and the acoustic standard of the fillings.
This project seemed simple: creating offices in a former warehouse of 700 m². The building’s proportions required keeping the skylights to bring natural light to the whole. The huge steel structure had also to be preserved to maintain the industrial concept of the place.
At the heart of a warehouse, a greenhouse made of H9 partitions
“We wanted to bring added value to the company through this rehabilitation”, explains the architect. “We therefore proposed to include a greenhouse in this huge space, under the central skylight, which would be dedicated to marketing and creation services; a sort of creative jar!”
On the periphery of the building, on both sides of the 3-metre wide greenhouse, conventional office space to a height of 5.5 metres… all designed with H9.
