Work in partnership

For this work in Lausanne, the installer-partner commissioned for this project, asked the Hoyez R&D department to find together the best solution to meet the client’s requirements.

For this project, the partners of this firm designed the plans and chose a virgin area of 420 m² to construct their medical centre. Rooms for consultation, preparation, care, rest and two radiology rooms had to be provided in this space. To limit the spread of X-rays, the radiology rooms had to be made safe by a lead sealing system compliant with standards. The doctors also wanted contemporary, and very neat-looking, aesthetic surroundings to receive their patients.

A delicate adaptation

Full edge-to-edge finishing wanted for all partitions, including radiology rooms, required thought about sealing the panel edges. What was needed was a system to maintain the aesthetics of the product while inserting lead plates. When the solution had been found, all leaded partitions were delivered pre-cut and ready to fit.
