Light on the H’Transparence partition
In Puget-sur-Argens in the Var, a new banking business centre was fitted out as part of a Low Energy Building project. The combination of wood and H’Transparence partitions responded to the needs of the project for which fluidity and clarity were required.
The building that hosts this bank development project covers an area of 1,000 m² on two levels. Certified as an energy-saving building, it includes sunshades that obscure the ground floor. This level is dedicated to customer reception, for which the main objectives were clarity and luminosity, and favour the movement of people from one space to another.
H’Transparence Fluidity and curved glazing
The ground floor, dedicated to receiving bank customers, consists of reception halls, independent offices, back offices, and a meeting room that can accommodate about twenty people. To meet the client’s wishes for fluidity and clarity, the architect and developer chose to associate wood with the H’Transparence partition, which offers 93% of glazing and has the most refined aluminium framework available on the market.
The rounded, welcoming spaces are constructed of H’Transparence glazed partitions. Associated with light-coloured wood, the partitions reflect light everywhere thanks to their faceted surfaces. Transparency is omnipresent. “We wanted this level to be as clear as possible and with a fluidity of space that would invite our customers to move freely from one space to another. The choice of glass partitions became obvious,” declares the client. Thus, nearly 200 m² were made with H’Transparence partitions cut into panels and embellished with one-piece door frames.
H7 Transparence Combination of light and acoustics
To create the fully-glazed meeting room, the choice was the H7 Transparence partition, used to its maximum height and 7 metres long; in double glazing to optimise the acoustics of the room.
